Cloverdale Rock Maven at
five months old.
Leslie Baumann has been an active breeder/exhibitor of
Lhasa Apsos for over 30 years and she is an American Lhasa
Apso Club Register of Merit Breeder.

In 1996, Leslie started doing breeder referrals and behavior
counseling on behalf of the American Lhasa Apso Club.  A
couple years later, she joined the Association of Pet Dog
Trainers, studying behavior theory and attending seminars in
order to better assist Lhasa owners who were having trouble
with their pets.  Her online counseling experience, always
emphasizing positive reinforcement training techniques, has
enabled Leslie to help students build a better relationship
with their dogs.

Leslie's beloved Lhasa, "Winston," Ch. ShiSedo Winter Wind
OA, AXJ, CGC began training in agility after completing his
conformation championship in 2000.  He is the first champion
in the history of the breed to achieve open and excellent agility
titles.  Currently, Leslie is also competing in agility with
another home bred Lhasa, Ch. ShiSedo Tomah.  A new
addition,  the Border Collie Cloverdale Rock Maven, bred by
Kristi Crowe and co-owned with Carol Richardson, is a
raucous "work in progress."

Leslie joined the American Lhasa Apso Club Board of
Directors five years ago.  She chaired the Code of Ethics
Committee and was selected to be a Trustee of ALAC
Rescue.  In 2003 she was elected President of ALAC.
